International Contemporary Drawing Festival aka THINK TANK lab TRIENNALE starts on the third of December 2015 in Wrocław. In upcoming edition of the Triennale the idea of international forum will be brought back after 15 years of break. Curators will present festival program to show very extensive drawing practices with numerous branches in the evolutionary line of a contemporary drawing category.
In the main programme there will be presented four exhibitions. Following exhibitions will be an attempt to analyse contemporary drawing in a few aspects. “Two Sticks” exhibition will concern the aspects of morphology of certain things and naturality of the signs. “IMAGINE” is about to concern the performance of a drawing. “Galeria Arsenal Notebook” exhibiton will be an attempt to analyse the manifesto and contestation. “Brudnopis” (pl. for stratchpad) will concern the aspects reconstruction and deconstruction in the analyse of a contemporary drawing.
Following exhibitions will be held in the most important museums, galleries and art institutions in the city of Wrocław, such as Museum of Architecture, National Museum, Ossolineum (National Ossoliński Institute) and CSU Neon. Accompanying events will be held in Wrocław Contemporary Museum, Entropia Gallery, Geppert’s Appartment, Arttrakt Gallery.
